How to place an order for genetic testing access programs
Invitae makes genetic testing easy
Step 1: Select and submit your order
Prior to ordering a test through a genetic testing access program, discuss testing with the eligible patient and get their consent. If needed, access Invitae’s patient-informed consent forms here.
Invitae offers two ways to start a test order. For faster results and access to additional features, order online.

Specimen & shipping requirements

Collection kits come with a prepaid label and shipping instructions.
Reminder: If you ship a collection kit to your patient, remind them to send it back to us.
Step 3: Receive results & determine next steps
When your patient’s results are ready, you’ll receive a notification email. Simply log in to your online account to view, save or print your patient’s report.
