Enhanced Financial Assistance Program

We’ve enhanced our Financial Assistance Program to add a ceiling price. For patients who qualify based on income level, we offer a percentage-based discount for their out-of-pocket responsibility or a flat rate price, whichever is lower.

- Rare disease (or all other non-cancer): $299

You can now access two provider-ordered genetic tests for unaffected patients who can benefit from knowing their genetic risks or general genetic insights to inform their health but:
- may not meet genetic testing guidelines criteria
- have a limited family history

To support patient care conversations, we provide patient out-of-pocket cost estimates for insurance-billed hereditary cancer genetic testing ordered via the Invitae portal. Because ordering decisions may be based on these estimates, we will honor the patient estimate provided. We designed our new cost estimates to seamlessly fit into your test ordering workflow, allowing you to choose how patients receive them.
We’re committed to improving estimate accuracy over time and working to extend this capability to other Invitae tests and ordering systems (Electronic Medical Records) soon.
